Medicinal Healing Ointment Class

This is for groups of 4 or more. Learn how to use locally-available plants, olive oil and beeswax to create a wonderful skin ointment, good for all sorts of skin problems. Package the ointment in a beautiful little container and you have excellent gifts for the holidays, or as hostess gifts. $15 per person. The class can be given at your location (home, community center, etc.) or at my farm in Rumsey. Travel time might be added if the distance is too far (payable in Davis Dollars, price negotiable) plus a small materials fee depending on the number of people attending the class. Call me!
Edible and Medicinal Herb Walk Around Davis

Join me in a walk in the Davis environs – or in Capay Valey – for a trip to discover street trees, weeds and garden plants that are either medicinal or edible and how to use them. I have years of experience as a hunter-gatherer! $15 per person. Call for availability.
swim lessons

I can teach kids from age 2 up to adults of any age! I have 5 yrs of experience teaching swim lessons, but have been in the water my whole life while being on the swim team and synchronized swimming team. I would love to help you or your kids learn the very important skill of swimming or just help improve stroke technique.

Hi! I tried to think of common, everyday services most people could use and that I could offer. I am over-qualified for this position! BUT happy to offer it in exchange for Davis Dollars. I will serve refreshments or dinner at parties or private homes, including set-up labor and cleanup (but no dishwashing). I am personable but can melt into the scenery. Any kind: children’s birthday parties, grownup, dress up, hippy-dippy, family BBQ’s, you name it. This is for services only, no catering. $15/hour (Davis dollars, that is!) plus drive time from Rumsey or Davis depending on the date. Call for availability.

Use local plants, beeswax and olive oil to make a great skin salve. This makes wonderful gifts! For groups of four or more. Small materials fee (in Davis dollars) per person in addition to the class fee. Class fee: 45 Davis Dollars per person.

Hi All! We are looking for someone to come by every other day to walk the dog, feed the cat, and generally make sure our pets are ok while we are away at Burning Man (Aug 29-Sept 6).
