Edible and Medicinal Herb Walk Around Davis

This is available for groups of 4 or more. Join me in a walk in the Davis environs – or in Capay Valey – for a trip to discover street trees, weeds and garden plants that are either medicinal or edible and how to use them. I have years of experience as a hunter-gatherer! $15 per person. Call for availability.

About camilla

I am a nature-lover and science teacher. I recently moved to the Capay Valley (45 minutes from Davis) but have been visiting it for years. I like kayaking and river-rafting Cache Creek. I keep bees, worms, lizards, a snake, and usually chickens. I especially like foraging for wild foods and items to use in my science classes. I am proud of a nonprofit I founded: Classrooms Across Cultures (classroomsacrosscultures.org) through which I travel to Afghanistan and train teachers in hands-on science. In summer 2010, I will be making my 9th trip to Afghanistan.
